Roe Valley Cycling Club Tours 2009

 

Saturday 25th April: Charity Cycle in aid of Marie Curie
Choose either 30 0r 60 miles. Minimum £10 entrance fee. 80% of monies raised go to Marie Curie and the rest to The David McCaul Foundation. A free BBQ is being provided by Gort na Drum Restaurtant on return.

Meet 10am at Gort na Drum, Gortnaghy Road, Burnfoot.

Sunday 10th May: Sperrin Run

Leaving from Limavady this run will be about 50 miles long. We plan to stop at Derrynoid Rural College for lunch.

 

Sunday 7th June: North Coast – Giant’s Causeway
Leaving from Limavady a 50 mile cycle based on the North Coast. Planning lunch at the Giant’s Causeway.

 

Sunday 26th July: Donegal
Leaving Limavady and cycling about 50 miles, (using the Magilligan Ferry to cross to Donegal) on to Culdaff and returning again. Lunch in Culdaff.

 

Saturday 22nd August- Sunday 23rd August: Scotland
Leaving Larne 7.30am to Cairnryan and back on the Sunday 4.30pm  ferry . Cycling about 50 miles each day as organised by Peter. B and B will be arranged.

Sunday 20th September: The Lanes Cycle and Barbeque
Starting at 10am at the Roe Valley swimming pool car park a short local run ending at Harry’s at Drumrane Road for a barbeque and get together to round off the season for all club members. No pre booking required but we would appreciate an indication of numbers for catering!

 

All runs starting in Limavady leave at 9am from the Roe Valley swimming pool car park unless otherwise noted.
