Online Entries Now Open for a Giant Killer! With only one year under its belt, the Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive has already become one of the most talked about events on the Irish cycling calendar. Online entries are now open for this year’s event which takes place on Sat 15th September.  This sportive set the message boards alight last year with raving reviews of 3 challenging routes along the iconic Giant’s Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland. With upwards of 20% hills, 100 miles into the longest route, many participants who took on the gruelling Giant Killer (115 miles) fell at the final hurdle and have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity of returning to the ‘scene of the crime’ fitter, stronger and ready to exact their revenge.  Also on offer is the stunning Glens and Coast route (78 miles) which traverses the magical Glens of Antrim before following one of the most popular coastal roads in Europe. In a unique twist to this year’s event, participants will have the option of taking on or indeed bypassing the now infamous Torr Head Road which still haunts participants from last year’s event. The ‘Decision Time’ feed station will be located approximately 65 miles into this route and should provide some entertaining deliberations.
